Greeting Cards created from photos of wood carvings by Signs of Spirit.  Pictures are taken of the carving and manipulated in Photoshop. The back of the card has the meaning of the knot, leaving the inside blank for you to use.

The Heart represents the Love of God and the Love we give to God. The flowing, stylized cross reminds us to Love with Joy, Exuberance, Gratitude and Generosity. The weaving of the Cross through the Heart evokes the cycle of Love, Giving and Receiving, receive love from God, send it out to the world, receive love from family, friends, strangers, pets, nature, etc, open your heart wide and channel the love back to the Divine.

This carving is a variation of a Celtic Cross (The circle woven around the vertical and horizontal members defines the Celtic Christian Cross.) that weaves a heart shape around the cross instead of a circle.

The heart has been associated with love since ancient times. The Christian cross also, is a symbol of love. The Heart Cross helps us to focus our thoughts on this love.

The card is printed on a 7 X 10 inch (folds to 7 X 5) A7 card of 60lb. Red River Paper Canvas. Paper canvas offers the texture of canvas media and the flexible use of a paper stock. You will get card and envelope inside of a cellophane sleeve.

The pictures here have watermarks…they won’t be on your card.

The pictures you see here are stock photos. What you get will depend on what we have in stock. If there are no others in stock, the time to shipping will be increased. If you desire and request something (for example) dark, we will pull the darkest board we have, but it will not necessarily be as dark as (for example) walnut would be. Western Red Cedar is the species from which roofing shingles, decks, and gazeboes have traditionally been made. It is resistant to mold, moisture, and insects. The oiling process also helps to block out damaging UV rays of the sun, so our carvings can be hung outdoors. Please be aware, that even with the oiling, the carving will eventually gray out, as any cedar will, if it is placed in direct sunlight.

SIZE OF THE CARVINGS: The stock carvings are limited by the size of the board that starts the carving process. As the initial piece is 1 in. x 12 in., (in reality 3/4 in. x 11-3/4 in.) one side of the carving will be no greater then approximately 11-1/2 in.
